LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Medicine Specialty
Shift Available: Days 7A-7P or Nights 7P-7A (36 hours/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in focused assessment/reassessments of patient(s) by observing, collecting, recording and reporting objective and subjective data in an accurate and timely manner. Reports the condition and/or change in condition of the patient(s) as well as signs and symptoms that deviate from normal health status.
- Assists in implementing the nursing plan of care within the concepts of the LPN curriculum with consideration for safety in practice; according to established prioritization of needs; documenting and communicating nursing interventions and responses of patient(s) to care.
- Assists in evaluating patient(s) responses; document and communicate evaluation data to appropriate health care team members; contributes to the modification of the nursing plan of care on the based on ongoing evaluation of the patient(s).
- Collaborates with team members by sharing relevant information, demonstrating initiative, and supporting team decisions and the work life of the department.
- Provides care consistent with the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as well as the assigned clinical area’s Standards of Care and Professional Performance.
- Assists in the supervision of unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within scope of practice after demonstrating required competencies or completing requisite training.

REQUIREMENTS: - LPN Degree from an Accredited Institution.
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
- New Grads are welcomed.
- One (1) year of RN experience is preferred for this position. If you have less than one (1) year of RN experience, please search for positions titled “RN Resident” to start the application process.
- Current Oklahoma Board of Nursing LPN License or a current multi-state compact LPN License (eNLC)
