Senior Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:
This Senior Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in managing our manufacturing process with our global CM locations. More specifically, this person will own all aspects of the mechanical manufacturing process. Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer will have the ability to identify any manufacturing challenges that affect the quality and integrity of our PCBA and Unit level assemblies. Assist our CMs in the production process assembly with prototype builds from Surface Mount, wave, post solder ops, chassis assembly and QC. Work hands-on with manufacturing assembly to define processes and required tooling for efficiency and ease of assembling the PCBA.

Review processes related defects to identify root cause analysis. Coordinate prototype build schedules with manufacturing engineers. Audit shop floor documentation assembly instructions and special instructions such as “on-the-job training”. Additional activities will include the creation and management of KPI’s and other metrics which will need to be reported on a regular basis.  This individual will need to work cross-functionally with other team members, will need to manage changes in priorities and execute plans in a high-tech, highly energized, team-oriented environment.

Roles & Responsibilities: Qualifications: The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $126,000-$190,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
