Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Office Technician (Typing) provides support to the Bill Room unit - Office of State Publishing is responsible for independently performing complex clerical duties within the Legislative Bill Room by handling customer service needs related to sales on the web store, providing customer service to the public counter and serving as backup to ensure all orders are accurate and fulfilled in a timely manner in accordance with Department of General Services (DGS) guidelines, Office of State Publishing (OSP) Operations Manual policies and procedures, Federal and State laws and Legislative processes.

Special Requirements
- The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. - Individuals who are new to state service must have list eligibility in order to gain employment with any state agency.
