The HR Business Partner will partner with leadership in Hasbro’s Toy organization and HR colleagues across the globe to provide a broad range of global HR services in support of objectives of the business, along with human resources initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources for Toys, Licensing & Entertainment, they will join our team of highly engaged professionals and have responsibility to drive talent and business transformation! The HRBP’s role will focus on the planning and execution of global workforce planning, team member development, performance management, compensation, employee relations activity, management and team member coaching, organizational development and change management. Additionally, this person will partner with the global HR teams to deliver crucial employee and management services. We are looking for a leader who brings a combination of strong business sense and stakeholder management skills to work with and influence across the business unit and company. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, strong communication and time management skills and the willingness to provide tactical and transactional support. A day in the life of a Human Resources Business Partner: In this role, you will partner with key leaders in our Toy organization to align business objectives with people initiatives. You will act as a trusted coach and business partner to senior leaders, people managers, and employees, building credibility with business partners to be conferred and actively contributing to overall business decisions. Our team is laser focused on ensuring we have the right capabilities in the right places to drive our vision, grounding everything we do with evidence-based decision making. Engage in and support the business strategy providing data and insights to business leaders to achieve strategic objectives through people strategies. Act as influential business partner, providing thought leadership especially around workforce planning and organizational design. Regularly assess organizational structures to ensure appropriate resource prioritization; work with leaders to proactively manage talent movement and development in alignment with business needs; facilitate the movement of talent within and outside of Toy organization. Coordinate with HR partners across the global HR teams to ensure an understanding of the global strategy and ensure team members have a consistent experience regardless of where they are located. Drive a culture of performance, operational excellence, results, and positive employee relations. Provide coaching to leaders on talent management, performance differentiation and management and leadership development. Develop workforce planning strategies to ensure the right talent is available at the right time. Partner with Hasbro’s HR Centers of Excellence (Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards) in the execution and delivery of programs and services. Participate in salary and bonus administration. Ensure policies, procedures, and effective reporting of compliance issues, and raise issues to VP HR, and Legal, as required. ​What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree and/or HR certifications desirable. Minimum of 7 years managing employee relations issues as an HR Generalist. Must be a strategic leader and thought provoker. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations, and use discretion and sound judgment when working with managers and team members. Strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive impactful results in a global and highly matrixed organization. Comfortable in fast-paced environments and works rapidly to set priorities while maintaining high quality results, strong follow through and resourcefulness Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must have the ability to deliver clear and succinct messages. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Strong approach for continuous improvement and demonstrable ability to switch between big picture thinking and detail-oriented execution. Strong data analytics skills (ex. process data, make data cohesive, tell a story with the data). Demonstrated ability to positively influence others. Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Knowledge of HRIS applications and MS office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word). Able to travel as needed. Up to 20% of the time, both domestic and international. This is a temporary position with a third-party temporary agency. You will be an employee of the temporary agency, not Hasbro.
