Role: Systems Engineer
Location: Durham, NC- - Onsite
Job Description:
Provide technical support in the development of robotic device including motors, motor drives and motion control mechanisms
Understand the kinematics of the existing system and provide support in electrical, electromechanical, gear drive calculations and in development activities
Understanding the closed-loop system, with optical encoders, motors, motor drives, gears and provide necessary arithmetic solutions to optimize the geometry of motion.
Supports in lab activities which involves system/module level testing, trouble shooting and hardware integrations
Provide solutions on the Electrical/Electromechanical redesigns and recreate/correct the System diagrams using advanced tools
Author technically simple and complex product documentation by working closely with various departments including Hardware, Software, Risk Management, Safety, Clinical, Human Factors, and Design Engineering.
