Job description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Unit Associate for the Mother/Baby Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 3pm – 11pm, including every other weekend. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:

• Greeting patients, visitors, healthcare team members, and physicians
• Registering Mother and Baby
• Admitting patients
• Answering call lights
• Ordering transcriptions
• Use of CPOM
• Assisting charge nurse/coordinator with patient flow through the unit
• Patient chart maintenance; answering the phone
• Communicating critical information to doctors and nurses in a high pace environment
• Other miscellaneous administrative duties

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum Experience Required:

• Previous Unit Rep experience in a hospital or medical office preferred
