Insight is on the lookout for an experienced, passionate and professional Presales Cloud/DevOps Solutions Architect to join our team.

Position Overview
As a Presales Cloud/DevOps Solutions Architect , you will enter a high-energy and tech-savvy world. We are looking for someone who has exceptional interpersonal skills, is customer service focused, and has a proven track record of delivering best in class in Cloud DevOps solutions involving private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
What you’ll need to join Insight:
- Cloud Platforms: A strong understanding of major cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other cloud providers. Proficiency in deploying and managing cloud resources, services, and infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Knowledge in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, to automate deployments.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Scripting and Programming: Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby to automate tasks and develop infrastructure-related scripts. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Go is a plus.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk to monitor system performance, detect issues, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Networking: Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, and VPNs. Experience with Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) configurations and security groups in cloud environments.
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security principles and best practices in cloud and DevOps environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and securing cloud resources.
- Git Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for version control, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts, to manage codebase changes effectively. GitOps experience is a plus.
- Database Management: Experience in deploying and managing databases in the cloud, such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Performance Optimization: Ability to analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks, optimizing resources and configurations to achieve high scalability and efficiency.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and incidents efficiently, ensuring quick resolution.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and stakeholders.
- Cloud Security Certifications: Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud DevOps Engineer can demonstrate a candidate's cloud and DevOps expertise.
- Agile and DevOps Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and continuous delivery.
