Job description

We are an outpatient, multi-disciplinary physical medicine and rehabilitation office. We primarily treat the adult population and we are seeking a skilled and experienced COTA to assist in our OT Department. This is a unique position in that we treat full-body complaints not limited to upper extremities. We are happy to train and groove in all new staff. This is a part-time position: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 3 pm-7 pm. Responsibilities:

• Helps occupational therapy patients by providing rehabilitative services to persons with physical impairments
• Follows treatment plan and provides services under the direction of our Lead Occupational Therapist
• Maintains patient occupational therapy records by recording the client’s progress for use by the occupational therapist
• Generates revenues by recording billing information of services rendered
• Enhances occupational therapy department reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a COTA
• Must be licensed in the state of New Jersey
• If you have not worked in an outpatient setting, and you're willing to learn, we are happy to train you!
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a big plus, but not a must
• We are looking for a friendly, caring, competent COTA with excellent communication skills
• Must work well with a team. We are a close-knit family-oriented practice and looking for someone who wants to join the team!
