Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Springfield, IL
Salary: $73,600-$93,200
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience in accounting (Cost Accounting ideal)

-Perform financial statement reconciliations and month-end close activities mainly related to Inventory and COGS; other accounts as needed.
-Perform daily reconciliations of inventory accounts.
-Perform various financial analyses related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information for decision-making support.
- Perform periodic bill of material cost rollups to analyze finished goods costs.
- Analyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard labor and overhead costs to actual labor and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with production operations to analyze production efficiencies.
- Collaborate with production operations to analyze variance and drive improvements.
- Update manufacturing labor and overhead rates.
- Assist in the quoting process for custom orders.
- Assist in the periodic review of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Prepare monthly journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.
- Contribute to the completion of year-end audits and tax returns.
- Responsible for all accounting aspects of customer dispensing equipment contracts.
- Manage lease compliance with ASC 842.
- Assist with customer pricing analysis to ensure profitability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience (Cost Accounting Preferred)
- Experience with Dynamics GP
