Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Analyst who specializes in ServiceNow to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform functionalities.
You will be embedded within an agile team supporting a DHS client who is implementing ServiceNow.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of ServiceNow applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and address software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Work closely with developers and product owners to troubleshoot issues, reproduce defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize industry-standard QA tools and methodologies to streamline testing processes and enhance overall product quality.
- Participate in agile development processes, sprint planning, and release management activities.
- Provide regular status updates, reports, and metrics on testing progress and product quality to stakeholders.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing ServiceNow applications.
- 1+ years of ServiceNow platform functionalities, including incident management, change management, and service catalog.
- 1+ years creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
- 1+ years of experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, or similar.
- US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
- MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.)
Desired Skills:
- Active DHS Public Trust
- Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize existing system functionality as it relates to the project at hand.
- Good understanding of basic system technologies as they relate to the project deliverables.
- Ability to maintain project roadmaps.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting by effectively responding to inquiries.
