Job description

San Antonio Voice And ENT Institute, PLLC in San Antonio, TX is looking for one part-time (up to 25 hrs/week) medical receptionist/scheduler to join our team. We are located on 8500 Village Dr. Suite 103. Our ideal candidate is polite, attentive, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and screen phone calls. Make reminder phone calls
• Organize and schedule patients and surgeries
• Obtain prior authorizations for surgical procedures
• Maintaining office cleanliness and organization of resources

Qualifications

• Knowledge regarding insurance verification, prior authorizations, referrals and surgery scheduling.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proven experience as an outstanding receptionist
• Knowledge of EHR, spreadsheets and word processing documents
• Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner
• Time-management and organizational skills
