C&E Rentals is offering an excellent opportunity for heavy equipment apprentice mechanics looking to advance their careers. We are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals with a mechanical mind and a desire to learn the trade and how to perform maintenance and repairs of a wide range of equipment in a safe and professional manner with some degree of independent judgment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and gas/diesel systems on a variety of rental equipment and tools.
• You will also be responsible for service documentation, the training of lower-level technicians as needed, and the demonstration of equipment for customer use.

Requirements:

• To be qualified, all applicants must have a basic mechanical understanding and a desire to learn the trade.
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge of construction/farm equipment or automotive, have a basic understanding of schematics and diagrams, a basic set of tools, and exhibit teamwork, verbal, and written skills.

We look for individuals with effective communication strong teamwork skills and the ability to multi-task. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are preferred.
