Part-Time Evening Licensed Mental Health Therapist-Counselor Must live within a half-hour from our office in Leonardtown, MD We are a busy, established, boutique private pay counseling practice for women and girls in Southern Maryland. We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. We are a group of strong women who have been through some stuff and want to help other women get through theirs. We believe that "your story is our story" and that women & girls need a connection to healing. We are hiring those who believe in our mission. We are excitedly looking for local licensed social workers for our Leonardtown office (LMSW, LCSW-C) or counselors (LGPC, LCPC). The right candidate must have the desire and passion to work specifically with girls and teen girls from ages 8 to 18 years old, and who wants to be part of a growing team of supportive women. This employee-based part-time position offers a very competitive fee-per-session pay structure in a strictly self-pay practice. This flexibility allows you to work around your life, being part of a nurturing, family-focused team of supportive women, administrative support, and mentoring. We are offering free supervision to provisionally licensed applicants! We require that you work at least a minimum of 10 hours a week offering afternoon & evening appointments in person, with the ability to work up to full-time eventually, which is 20-25 sessions a week. You MUST be able to be on time and work independently in the office. (Currently, we are not considering submissions from those who own their own practices or work for another group practice in the area.) You may be in a hybrid situation where you see your clients in person and virtually. Must live within a half-hour from our office in Leonardtown, MD Responsibilities: • Provide psychotherapy to girls & teen girls (ages 8 to 18 years old) in person & virtually at our Leonardtown location • Freedom to work around your life once you are established (based on office availability) • Complete all notes and clinical requirements for each session • Connect with the client above and beyond what is considered typical in this field • Be able to work autonomously and reliably • Be conscientious about your notes and clinical work • Flexibility to work in a hybrid model when needed • Documentation is minimal. We are a paperless practice! Qualifications: • Must not live more than thirty minutes away from our Leonardtown location - this is an in-office position with the occasional capability of working virtually in a hybrid model • Must have a Maryland clinical license (LMSW, LCSW-C) or (LGPC, LCPC) • Must not own your own practice or work for another group practice • Be proficient in Apple products as we use iPads in our offices • Be able to work independently and be on time for each session • Should have a sparkly personality and be interested in building a connection with clients • Have experience working with women, girls, and our LGBTQ+ community • Be passionate about women's issues, be affirming and accepting of all people About Company: We are a busy, established boutique private pay counseling practice for women and girls and our LGBTQ+ community in Southern Maryland. We have 2 locations in Maryland and can also see clients with our hybrid option for Washington DC and Virginia residents.
