YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR TEMPORARY SPECIAL EDUCATION SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
As a Temporary Special Needs Substitute Teacher, you have the exciting opportunity to coordinate and participate in the implementation of educational programs for all students. You are essential in fostering the development of key skills such as academics, fine and gross motor skills, language skills, behavioral/social development, and activities of daily living. With your expertise and dedication, you create and implement Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Additionally, you provide valuable supervision and evaluation of classroom teaching assistants, teacher aides, and assigned float teacher aides, ensuring that our students receive the highest quality of support and education.
This position offers the potential for career growth, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time Special Education Teacher role.
