Position Summary:
Mindful Care is excited to extend an invitation to dedicated and self-driven Community Liaisons specifically with a background as a MSW, MFT, MHC, or a MPH, to join our team. The Community Liaison at Mindful Care is a dynamic and strategic role responsible for fostering relationships with the medical community to generate patient referrals for our mental health services. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, relationship building, marketing acumen, market research capabilities, performance monitoring, and collaboration skills. This role is perfect for those who appreciate the synergy of working alongside bright and driven colleagues and desire a flexible work schedule.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy focused on acquiring referrals from doctors and medical professionals.
- Identify and target potential referral sources, including primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals to foster trust and collaboration.
- Organize and attend networking events, conferences, and seminars to promote our services and establish new contacts.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials highlighting our mental health services.
- Develop and deliver presentations to medical professionals to educate them on the benefits of referring patients to our organization.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential areas for expansion.
- Analyze data and insights to optimize strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
- Achieve and exceed referral and revenue targets set by the organization.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of referrals and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Public Health.
- Strong communication, patient/customer care, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to organize and time-management.
- Proven experience in business development or a related field, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with a track record of establishing long-term professional relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively promoting services and educating healthcare professionals.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research and performance analysis.
- Goal-oriented with a keen eye on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Team-player.
- Desire to work with diverse populations.
- Experience in a sales is helpful.
- An entrepreneurial spirit or previous experience within a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Proficient in using a variety of systems and tools, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and more.
- Must have own computer.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- LGBTQ+ ally.
- Bilingual, a plus.

Salary and Schedule:
- 1099 Contract - $30-$40.
- 10-20 hours per week.
- Remote - with fluidity to travel.
- Chicago, IL, Michigan, potentially other Midwest states.
- Regional role: Must have the ability to travel between locations.
