Job Title: Engineering D irector

Job Summary: The Engineering Director at Q LLC is a key leadership role responsible for the overall management of our Department of Engineers. This position plays a crucial role in leading short and long-term execution of development projects. The Engineering Director will also oversee project management, administrative duties including professional development, supplier development, and department budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, supply chain, quality, finance, and manufacturing. Effective communication, leadership, and the ability to maintain work-life balance are essential qualities for success in this role.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent is required .

Preferred Educational Qualifications:

• Ma ster ' s i n business administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Oversee the Department of Engineers, managing short and long-term planning and administrative functions.

1. Collaborate with team members, managers, stakeholders, and operations to ensure successful project execution.

1. Analyze, propose, and manage project resources and budgets to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.

1. Lead the hiring process for new team members, supervise the current team of engineers, and identify training opportunities for professional development.

1. Evaluate team members' performance and provide input to address challenges.

1. M aintain and oversee appropriate revision control methods.

1. In partnership with product management, design strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resources.

1. Review and update policies and procedures applicable to the engineering teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, MBA is preferr ed.
• 5-10 years of industry or related industry experience .
• Work experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position .
• Extensive experience with mechanical design and manufacturing environments.
• Strong Supply Chain , F ina n ce and Quality Assurance experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in analyzing, proposing, and managing project resources and budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
