We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee our operations in the Northeastern region of the United States for an eating disorder service provider organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in healthcare management, particularly within the mental health and eating disorder treatment sector. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and a passion for improving the lives of individuals struggling with eating disorders.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth and expansion of services within the Northeast region.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish goals, objectives, and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead efforts to ensure quality of care, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple treatment facilities and programs within the region.
- Implement standardized operational processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to optimize resource utilization and workflow efficiency.
Staff Development and Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team of managers and staff.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance staff competencies and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support individual and team growth.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote awareness of our services and foster partnerships.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
- Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and proactively implement necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in mental health and/or eating disorder treatment settings.
- Proven track record of successful leadership, strategic planning, and operational management.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards in the healthcare industry.
