Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Accountant to join our team. This role offers flexibility in work arrangements, with opportunities for hybrid or remote work depending on your location within the continental US.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and reconcile complex investment transactions on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Support accounting and reporting processes for real estate investments.
- Mentor and assist junior team members in resolving issues and developing their skills.
- Collaborate with various business units to resolve discrepancies and ensure effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new applications and process enhancements.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, seeking opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Provide direct support to the investment accounting management team as needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Four years of professional experience in investment accounting or related reporting roles, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with preference for VBA/macro experience.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with SAP, BW, or similar software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and ASC accounting standards.
- Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
- Understanding of investment products is advantageous.

Total Rewards:

The salary range for this position is $57,000 to $145,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
