Job description
Electrician
What you’ll do:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical blueprints.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and procedures.
- Use a variety of tools and techniques to repair and maintain electrical systems.
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Assist other trades in Facilities Maintenance as requested.
- Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning system
What is required:
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship with an accredited apprenticeship program.
- Journeyman Electrician licensed in the State of Utah (5 Years)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Communication skills and ability to work well on a team.
- Understands NFPA70E and LOTO procedures.
- Ability to use lift equipment and work from heights.
