Job description
Job Summary:
The Fuels Engineering team supports the Wholesale and Retail Fuels teams for Pricing, Ordering, Fleet, Accounting, and Supply. The Engineering team supports both custom applications and third party SAAS applications including a third party pricing tool. For our custom applications we are using Spring Boot Java for API and Microservices development to provide services for our Fuel Pricing Teams, so they can push fuel prices from our Store Support Center to the Price Sign at the store in near real time and send daily price notifications to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 7+ years experience of product management experience required in technology or retail environment, petroleum industry knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies with the ability to synthesize information, apply critical thought, and present the information in a clear and meaningful way
- Familiar with agile scrum development method.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in supply chain management or related discipline is an advantage
- Ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Solid understanding of agile product development principles
- Ability to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from other product areas
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
