A family in Hoboken is looking for a full-time, live-out nanny for their two-month-old newborn. The typical schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 / 5 pm.
Duties include:
Basic infant care including: feeding, naps, and diaper changing. Creating fun and age-appropriate activities for the baby.
Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this home is confident, reassuring, and experienced with infants. The caregiver should be consistent and adaptable to the baby’s needs. The ideal nanny is able to follow the infant’s routine, using a balance of experience and learned methods. The best nanny for this home would have a good method for ensuring the baby eats and naps. A plus is if the nanny is willing to reassure and teach methods to the new mom.
About the family:
This infant is fussy but playful. He has trouble going down for naps.
These parents are working professionals. Mom is an extroverted, anxious, first time parent. Dad is introverted, relaxed, and intelligent. Grandmother likes to visit often, but she doesn’t speak a lot of English.
