We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Catering Manager to join our team. The Sales and Catering Manager will be responsible for driving revenue through the sale of event spaces and catering services, while also ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
Responsibilities:
1. **Sales and Business Development:**
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets for event spaces and catering services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
- Create and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and maximize revenue.
2. **Event Planning and Coordination:**
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including menu selection, room setup, audiovisual requirements, and other logistical details.
- Ensure seamless execution of events by coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
3. **Customer Service and Relationship Management:**
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
4. **Administrative Tasks:**
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and event orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to support overall hotel objectives.
**Qualifications:**
- Experience in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the hospitality or event industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of sales CRM systems preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
