About the Job Postdoctoral Associate in Behavioral Medicine and
Psychophysiology
The University of Minnesota Medical School (Duluth and Minneapolis campuses) is searching for a Postdoctoral
Associate with strong research interest in behavioral medicine. The candidate will participate in an active NIH and NSF biobehavioral
research program (Director, Mustafa al'Absi, Professor). Our research focuses on stress psychobiology, addiction, and global health
research. The candidate will have access to a rich clinical research environment within the NIH funded CTSI and other centers. Abundant
opportunities to analyze existing data sets and publish in peer reviewed journals.

Qualifications All required qualifications should be shown on application
materials. Requirements include: As of the beginning date of the appointment to this position, a Ph.D., M.D. or comparable
doctoral degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution.
Preferred Qualifications include: evidence of research
excellence as demonstrated by publications and/or awards recognizing scientific excellence; good/excellent communication skills as
demonstrated by clarity of presentation; training in biological or clinical psychology; and experience in human psychophysiological and
psychobiological research.
