Principal B2B Partner Marketing Manager, Project Kuiper

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services LLC

Location

Redmond, WA | United States

Job description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide secure, high-speed, low-latency broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities, businesses and governments around the world.

If you are someone who wants to play an active role in one of Amazon’s most audacious business plans, the rapidly growing space economy, building industry-leading marketing, and delivering connectivity solutions for the world’s largest companies, keep reading. We’re looking for an experienced partner marketing leader who is at home earning trust with stakeholders at all levels and from dozens of organizations. Someone who wants the thrill of autonomously building a business by partnering with key internal business units and brands, and external systems integrators and value-added partners. At Project Kuiper, the B2B Marketing team will define our end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) strategy, own B2B customer and industry insights, deliver compelling content, and acquire and retain customers in multiple industries and regions around the world. The Principal B2B Partner Marketing manager will set and define the global Partner marketing strategy, identifying strategic partners by region or industry, onboarding and training partners to acquire customers, and then activating partners to acquire customers through world-class marketing. This is a rare opportunity to shape the global customer funnel and core connectivity products and services before the launch of a service.

Key job responsibilities
- Define a global acquisition strategy that will win and retain accounts through strategic partners and AWS.
- Identify, onboard, train, and activate partners to acquire customers through the top, middle, and bottom of the customer funnel.
- Track and report on partner-led customer acquisition success. A/B test and optimize marketing strategy and conversion down the funnel over time.
- Earn trust across Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Brand, Creative, Research, Business Development and our Central Events teams to leverage the full power of the Amazon Marketing engine that will compliment Kuiper-specific strategies.
- Recruit and manage B2B-specific content, strategy and media agencies to achieve your goals.
- Communicate regularly with executive leadership, business development and product management on program and campaign effectiveness.

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

A day in the life
The Principal B2B Partner Marketing Manager is a highly visible, high-impact role on the Kuiper B2B Marketing team. This flexible leader will set the overall partner-led acquisition strategy for both account-based marketing, and the top-of-funnel . This leader will own strategic relationships with external industry-based marketing partners, and work together with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon Business counterparts to target and win B2B endpoints. They will work in close partnership with Business development, solutions architecture and both the Industry, and Product Marketing teams to set and achieve aggressive lead-generation goals. This person will thrive by working independently with large, cross-functional teams inside and outside Amazon. This marketer will enjoy creating clarity and transparency in ambiguous situations, and the end-to-end ownership over product launch strategy and execution. They will lean on their track record and expertise marketing to and through partners to achieve their goals.
