TECHNICAL GRAPHIC DESIGNER Location Springfield, MO : SUMMARY As Graphic Designer, you will follow instructions to create various types of signage designs using Corel Draw and other design programs. This will include creating brand standard art packages, permitting and artwork. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Team Player, communicate effectively
- Learn various corporate signage requirements to successfully produce brand standard art packages
- Learn permitting process to successfully produce permitting artwork files
- Accurately label and keep project files organized
- Work with Art Department Manager to complete job list schedule
- Meet and exceed project deadlines
- Work within a team environment and/or independently as needed
- Effectively communicate between all necessary people/departments on projects
- Work efficiently on jobs and the art list- being able to multi-task between multiple jobs as required and communicate proactively when issues arise
REQUIREMENTS - 4 years' experience as a graphic designer, education may be substituted for experience
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Requiring hours of service that would average at least 40 hours of service per week (full time) with possible overtime
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
- Must be able to lift 0-20lbs. occasionally
PREFERRED - Associates Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience using CorelDraw and Adobe Suite
