Our client in the real estate space is looking to bring on a new Director of Human Resources to lead big culture initiatives for the organization. This position is on site 5 days/week in Schaumburg, IL.
If you are a self-starter and enjoy leading small HR teams in growing organizations, this is the opportunity for you! This will report directly to the C-suite of the group and have exposure to the President and other leaders in various divisions. This will be a mix of leading strategic initiatives and diving into daily HR functions, given the company (and the team) are small-mid size.
Director of Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of HR including performance management, compliance, workforce planning, onboarding and talent acquisition
- Create culture and employee engagement initiatives
- Facilitate performance development and partner with them to identify coaching plans
- Build and direct a team of HR professionals
- Create learning and development programs for the company surrounding employee retention
- Lead Diversity & Inclusion efforts
Director of Human Resources Requirements: - Bachelor's degree
- PHR, SHRM, or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Background with a start-up company or real estate preferred, but not required
- Willingness to travel up to up to 30%
