- They built a world-class manufacturing facility in Austin Texas which employs over 100 people
Position
- The firm is looking for an experienced process engineer to work in their ISO 9001-certified facility in Austin
- This is a six-month full-time contract position
- Work hours are 8:00A to 4:00P Monday through Friday
- The company is looking to fill this role as soon as possible
- The engineer will author, maintain and optimize process specs, ops procedures and various process controls at the facility
- This position also provides CAD support for work center layouts and designs
- This person manages capital projects as well as maintenance projects at the plant
Qualifications
- Bachelors in process engineering, mechanical engineering or related degree
- Consideration will be given to candidates with advanced degrees in engineering
- Minimum five years of experience managing process engineering and/or plant operations projects is absolutely required, preferably in the medtech space
- Experience with CNC machining and QC in a medical device manufacturing environment is highly desired
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is desired
