Trinity Health Livonia is a beautiful full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital, located in Livonia, MI, that provides comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics and birthing and women's health. Through several major expansions in the hospital, programs and services, Trinity Health Livonia continues to offer the latest in quality health and medical services. SUMMARY:

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) functions as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) within three spheres of influence (i.e. direct patient care, nursing-nursing practice, and organization-system leadership) to integrate care across the continuum. Although each sphere possesses its own distinct focus, the three together are interrelated and contain elements that overlap. The primary goal of the CNS is to promote the continuous improvement of nursing care and patient outcomes.
