Job description

Reports To:   Manager, Talent Acquisition

 

Primary Functions:   Responsible for administrative functions related to staff recruitment and onboarding.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct background reviews including verification of previous employment, bondability, social security verification and criminal records review as required and/or directed.
  2. Coordinate the completion of all new employee onboarding to include providing remote support to managers. Ensure completion of necessary paperwork and accurate data entry into the HRMS System.
  3. Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verifications; periodically conduct Form I-9 audit.
  4. Monitor employees with temporary work authorization and follow up as required.
  5. Respond to candidate and manager inquiries related to the Recruitment and Onboarding system.
  6. Responsible for the reporting of new employee information to CSSD.
  7. Conduct weekly advertising audit and coordinate placement of advertising.
  8. Draft/revise job descriptions and organizational charts as required and/or directed.
  9. Ensure timely processing of invoices related to recruitment and staffing activities.
  10. Maintain a variety of departmental control and documentation logs and records.
  11. Periodically review and make recommendations for procedure and form updates.
  12. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of personnel information and records.
  13. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  14. Provide research and other assistance as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

 

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable

 

Experience/Skills: One year of progressively more responsible administration and Human Resource experience preferred. Proficient record keeping, accurate data entry, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Must be articulate, analytical, detail oriented, organized, and possess effective written and oral communication skills. Effective time management skills required. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks to meet expected timelines for assigned work. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Tenure: Employment Specialist II position, category 13, requires a minimum of six months tenure in the Employment Specialist I position, category 14, with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate’s performance. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.

 

 

 

Salary Pay Range:

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

 

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
