About the Position: Join our team as the Senior Director of Operations and spearhead the success of our property management operations! We're looking for a seasoned leader who will oversee property performance, personnel management, and policy development. Your role will involve recruiting, training, and guiding Directors to excel in their roles while actively participating in property acquisitions and developments.
- Drive overall operations excellence in property management.
- Develop, communicate, and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Mentor and supervise Directors for optimal performance.
- Play a pivotal role in property acquisitions and developments.
- Participate in high-level Executive and Board meetings.
- Regional travel required, with a home base at our Corporate office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Real Estate or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Extensive expertise developed over five years of regional or director supervisory roles within property management
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload
- Expected travel commitment of 10 to 15 days a month
- Necessary requirement includes holding a valid driver's license, maintaining a commendable driving history, and having auto insurance
- Certified Apartment Manager or Advanced Management Designation Preferred
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients/customers
