Hiring a Machine Operator / General Production worker in the Dekalb, IL
Job Description:
CST Storage (Tank Wind Down) is seeking production line workers for their glass line. Candidates will maintain production by off loading machines and hanging finished product for the painting line. Candidates will lift up to 50lbs of material at a time. Candidates will be asked to inspect finished painted product and stack after inspection.
Responsible for maintaining production of the glass line keeping material moving down the line, hanging steel material, off loading steel, inspecting, and then stacking.
General labor work; little manufacturing experience required. Ideal candidate has worked in some sort of manufacturing facility before. Glassline’s primary purpose is to perform production work such as pulling hooks from sheets, running the spinner, driving, and unloading sheets from the glass line. Success in this position is measured by maintaining efficiency goals to satisfy client needs and demands.
3:15pm-1:45am $17.50 an hour (1 opening)
4:15pm-2:45am: $17.50 an hour (4 openings)
($18.25 when hired on perm)
