Description We are seeking an Application Engineer to assist with cloud development.
- Assess interoperability of enterprise IT metadata
- Create custom applications/mechanisms to ingest a variety of data stores
- Development of data management infrastructure and associated tools.
- Save and destroy data, based on rules.
- Ensure quality and usability.
- Create tools to provide automated reports and information about systems performance to facilitate decisions.
Requirements
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.

- Familiar with cloud development
- Experience working with data ingest and manipulation (ETL)
- Database experience (Elasticsearch, SQL)
- Data manipulation and configuration (Java, Python)
- Linux
Desired Skills
- Application Containerization (Docker/Docker Swarm)
- Experience with Kafka
- Requirements management (Jira)
- Critical thinking
