YOUR ROLE
- Supports SHE organization in specialized area.
- Drives SHE strategy and targets in area of responsibility and uses appropriate reporting tools.
- Reports monthly on SHEQ KPI status.
- Defines and executes standards and procedures in collaboration with affected functional area.
- Ensures continual improvement in all relevant SHE fields.
- Supports Global Audit Management.
- Supervises legal compliance matters, follow-up of development in legal matters and regulatory affairs.
- Manage compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Performs SHE and Sustainability inspections as required.
- Support site management in Sustainability program implementation.
- Competency development of site employees on Sustainability & Communication programs Ensures timely and accurate Sustainability reporting.
- Coordinate site Sustainability Scorecard, Roadmap, and House of Sustainability Act as Sustainability & Environmental counterpart for major investments & projects.
- Support site Energy & Environmental & ISCC Management system.
- Develop reports and recommendations independently.
YOUR SKILLS
- BA/BS degree in Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering or another related field
- 7 years of related SHE and/or Sustainability experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong chemical background is preferred
- Experience with air permitting and OSHA reports preferred
- Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
- CSP certification desired.
- Ability to work effectively with the SHE team and operations management and staff.
- Ability to solve broad range of complex problems.
- Ability to utilize approaches that require innovation and change.
- Experience in emergency response and incident command training and implementation.
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills including the ability to work independently, prioritize activities, meet commitments, and proactively manage time and generally mange travel and a challenging workload.
- Incorporates business risk in analysis of alternatives. Understands cost versus benefit analysis.
- Strong networking skills. Must be able to identify and effectively utilize resources such as contract expertise.
- Must work effectively within teams and within diverse work groups.
- Demonstrates clear and concise oral and written skills as well as an ability to train others. Can tailor communication to all audiences.
- Effective listening skills.
The salary for this role is $83,400.00 - $118,200.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
