Pay Range: $18.15- $22.69 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: The Multimedia Engineer and Event Specialist actively engages with customers providing consultation and technical support services for classroom and event support needs used by JCCC leadership, faculty, staff, students, and college community. This position assists the Sr. Multimedia Engineer and Event Specialists with overall day-to-day operations as well as project-related support services.

Required Qualifications: Basic understanding of a broad range of operating systems and devices as is relevant to integration with multimedia systems.
Ability to work as a team and independently on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Follows established procedures on routine work.
Excellent analytical, technical writing, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work directly with end users and technical staff when troubleshooting support issues.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets college insurance provider requirements.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years' experience in a conference/event multimedia environment.
Working knowledge of Crestron hardware and software as well as multimedia control systems with remote control capabilities.
