Van-Am Tool & Engineering is a custom manufacturer located in St. Joseph, MO. We are seeking strong candidates in a variety of positions to join our outstanding team!

We are seeking experienced Welders for ALL SHIFTS - hand welding and robotic welding. Differentials paid for Nights and Weekend shifts!

Day Shift: 5:00AM - 3:30PM, M-Th - 4 Days

Night Shift: 6:30PM - 5:00AM, M-Th - 4 Days - $2/hr Diff Paid

Weekends: 6:00AM - 6:30PM, F-Su - 3 Days - 11% Diff Paid

Successful Welders will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. This position requires a high level of skill and accuracy, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a solid work history and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

MIG with some TIG. Carbon and Stainless. Compensation is based upon skill and experience.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Use a variety of welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Perform maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
