Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the charge in our land acquisition process, driving departmental operations and budgets to new heights.
Craft an annual strategic land plan that sets the stage for our growth, focusing on geographic, product, and pricing goals aligned with our company's vision.
Dive deep into market analysis to uncover strategic areas for future land acquisitions, ensuring the feasibility of potential projects.
Keep your finger on the pulse of market trends and opportunities, leveraging your network to uncover promising land deals.
Oversee all aspects of new project development, from parcel discovery to negotiation and due diligence.
Craft compelling letters of intent and navigate competitive bid situations with finesse.
Collaborate with our Corporate Land Development team to refine project pro formas and ensure financial viability.
Drive real estate closings and financings, negotiating land banking documents with confidence.
Guide contract negotiations and execution, ensuring smooth transactions.
Review survey and title reports to assess potential liabilities of acquisitions.
Represent our company in presentations before municipal decision-making bodies.
Provide executive-level reports on deal summaries and land tracking.
Cultivate strong relationships with industry partners, including landowners, brokers, lenders, and municipalities.
Manage lot purchase activities and assist in balance sheet management efforts.
Foster a positive and supportive work environment for our Land Resources team.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Construction Science, or Real Estate preferred. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of seven years of experience in real estate acquisition and negotiation, preferably with a production builder.
Proven ability to anticipate challenges and devise effective solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for public speaking and presentations.
