The hospital recently added a new five-story tower with 96 patient beds, increasing the acute-care bed count to 338. This expansion increased emergency and trauma services, as well as the surgical unit and intensive care offerings.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating clinic schedule, assisting on clinical notes, supply management, data collection, reporting, and equipment management. Clinic coordinator acts as a liaison between dental providers, registrar, and promotras regarding program needs and patient care.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Experience:

Experience coordinating a community benefit program

Preferred: Three years of experience working in oral health or community health preferred. Experience with grant funded programs, implementation, and reporting preferred. Experience working with underserved populations, diverse culture, and young children preferred

Education:

Education High school diploma 

Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in public health, health promotion, health science, dental, or other related field.

Licensure:

Fingerprint clearance within six months of hire

Valid Driver's License

Special Skills:

Able to read, write, speak, and understand both English and Spanish Required

Training:

Training as clinic coordinator, community coordinator, community health worker, Promotora, community health liaison.
