Seeking compassionate and qualified individuals to join our team of Compensation & Pension (C&P) Examiners (1099 contractor role) responsible for conducting medical examinations for Veterans seeking disability benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
In this role, you will:
Conduct comprehensive medical examinations for Veterans, following established VA protocols and guidelines.
Gather and document accurate medical history and findings.
Communicate effectively with Veterans and other staff.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of residence.
Minimum of 2 year of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, family medicine, or related field.
Strong understanding of VA disability rating criteria.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with the VA claims process is a plus.
