Trissential is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO (Hybrid). Must be able to work a flex/hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Local candidates only - must be able to be physically in office in one location.
Job Summary:
- This candidate will be interfacing and collaborating with a team of approximately 10 team members to include the finance IT manager, a BA, Project architect, functional analyst (liaison between business and IT team), business SME’s in different areas, in addition to leadership.
- This PM is expected to lead and drive the project.
- The ideal candidate will have experience delivering business applications related to finance as well as strong skills in executive communication and managing large IT application projects.
- The project manager will prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our project goals are being achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to escalation channel.
- Financial tracking for the project.
- The project manager will prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our project goals are being achieved.
- Responsible for managing complex and high risks projects.
- Oversees project budgets and schedules.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of project scope.
- Minimizes project risk.
- Creates and manages project work plans and work breakdown structures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ten or more years of project management experience, with at least 5 years of application related deployments.
- Candidates should have expert level (10+ years) of experience with the following: Project Planning, Team Management, Requirements Gathering, Budget and Resource Management, Risk Management, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Quality Assurance, Change Management, Documentation and Post-Implementation Review.
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
- Proven success working with all levels of management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with vendor management.
- Strong executive communication skills.
- Experience with SAP SAC implementations.
- Experience managing large IT projects.
- Excellent presentation skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience managing projects that deploy finance applications.
- Utilities experience would be nice to have, with concentrated experience with CapEx expenditures experience.
- Professional certification such as PMP.
- Delivered applications to internal business users.
- Experience working with business users as well as IT resources.

- Must be local to one of the two offices, either Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO
This role is full-time, with eligibility for company sponsored health care, paid time away from work, and 401k with matching.
Compensation range is $68 - $85 per hour, or up to $158,000 annually.
Business related travel will be reimbursed, however, candidate should be local to either Minneapolis or Denver.
