Job description

As a Graphic Designer at Goliath Brands Inc, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our individual fashion label’s design and marketing teams and our branded web and marketing materials.

The graphic designer will work directly with the CEO to build the templates for each future fashion label that joins as well as the identity of Goliath Brands Inc itself.

This is a “ground up” position. Goliath Brands Inc is currently testing and iterating its end to end logistics pipeline (marrying craftsmanship with technology). The goal is for the Graphic Designer to grow with the company and become an integral part of our team and chief steward of our brand identity.

This is a fully remote position but residing within the New York City Metropolitan Area is a plus.

Compensation :

Goliath Brands Inc is offering a starting hourly wage of $60 / hour - 10 hours a week.

We pay in advance for the week ($600 paid on Sundays).

We request 1 hour of that 10 be committed to a weekly meeting with the CEO and other Goliath team members.

We understand that an initial 9 hours of working time (and 1 hour of meeting time) per week is low. But we’d rather have slow , continual , and deliberate growth vs a rapid and unpredictable scale up.

Goliath Brands Inc believes your time is valuable and there would never be an expectation of working beyond what Goliath Brands Inc can provide in advance.

The ideal candidate would be someone looking to gradually grow their commitment into a full time salaried position with Goliath Brands Inc over the course of 5 to 6 months.

The Finer Print...

Responsibilities :

• Collaborating and designing the core Goliath Brands Inc brand identity
• Collaborating, designing, and coordinating on Shopify webstore templates
• Collaborating, designing, and coordinating on social media content
• Collaborating, designing, and coordinating future web development projects (e.g. 3D renderings on the webstore from Goliath Brands’ proprietary software)

Qualifications :

• 3 solid projects in your portfolio that showcase brand identity and web layout that are no older than 3 years.
• Proficient with latest graphic design software applications (e.g. Adobe family of products - but proficiency in Gimp and Inkscape is a plus).
• Proficient in HTML and CSS (JS and tools such as Flutter a plus but not required)
• Proficient in video editing and 3D software (e.g. Blender) is an absolute plus!
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required (mainly for age verification)

We want to work and grow with the absolute best and we feel your work should speak for itself! Educational background will not factor into this position as we understand we all come from different journeys to get here!
