Role: SAP BASIS S/4 HANA Admin
Location: Toronto/Montreal-Day one onsite
Duration: C2C/Fulltime
Job Description:
Desired profile SAP BASIS & HANA Administrator Demonstrated through 7+ years of experience as an SAP HANA Administrator administering SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes.
Develop and deliver on a BI/reporting strategy based on Native HANA/HANA Live that supports future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio.
Create and enhance new/existing Native HANA models, views and BOBJ reports and dashboards to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities and IT standards.
Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems. HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory
. HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
SAP BusinessObjects and HANA integration, Design document, RFPs, and estimation plans.
Experience with high availability and backup mechanism. Strong knowledge of SLT methodologies and replication techniques.
Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router ), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates. familiar with BRTOOLS for Space management.
Hands on experience of implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions.
Applying Support Package, Kernel patch upgrade, TMS configuration and Transport administration (Transport strategy), maintaining of operation modes and profile parameters, background job management. Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery.
Mastery of the HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
Strong SQL scripting knowledge, creating Stored procedures, troubleshooting performance issue optimization of the code.
Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quick sizer. Experience in SAP data Archiving.
Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
Hardware, operating systems (LINUX) and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment.
Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and system integration.
Elaboration of SAP release plan.
Experience in system refresh tasks, Client copies (local client copy, client export, client import).
Performance optimization and tuning: deep experience with SQL traces to achieve Performance Impact Analysis.
Early Watch configuration and analysis. Transport Management.
Automation of SAP basis tasks through different development and scripting approaches
Incident Management: Troubleshooting the issues from OS level like work process monitoring, checking logs, checking OSS notes, provide Performance analysis and suggest solution to write the Root Cause Analysis.
Write Operational procedures. Create Customer standard documentation.
Provide On-call support during weekday and weekends as per the schedule.
Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration will be a plus
SAP BASIS/NetWeaver certification is a plus. SAP Fiori knowledge is highly desirable.
Skills on Linux is required.
Strong SAP Basis experience in Data Archiving and Content Server Strategies
