Job description
Cozy Earth is the #299 fastest-growing company in the United States on the Inc. 5000 and a leading home luxury and apparel brand in the United States. We make products that transform home luxury through amazingly soft and temperature-regulating bedding, sleepwear, loungewear, and bath softgoods. The only brand chosen as one of "Oprah's Favorite Things" 5 years in a row in 5 different categories! The best news? We're looking for a talented Digital Asset Coordinator to join and grow our team!
Digital Asset Coordinators play a critical role in the management and organization of a company's digital assets. They are responsible for managing, organizing, updating, distributing, editing, deleting, curating, archiving and "digitally filing" an organization's digital assets.
The ideal candidate is committed, reliable, and continuously striving for excellence. They possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and are able to effectively communicate. They are adaptable, take initiative, and are committed to continuous learning and development.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of Cozy Earth's creative assets.
- When photos are received, oversee retouching and uploading. (Meet with the Art Director always, and the Creative Director if possible, prior to starting retouching).
- When uploading photos make sure to tag them appropriately in Brandfolder, update the spreadsheet, and then send a message in the Creative Team Slack channel letting everyone know what photos are available, and how to find them.
- Pick website selects, retouch, rename, format them, and send them to the website team, after approvals.
- Approval process: first round is with the Art Director and then send to the Creative Director and Product Team Member together for final approval before sending to the website photo drop slack channel. Please make sure the deadline for sending to the website photodrop channel is stated when sending photos to the Product Team and Creative Director.
- Continually audit the website for upcoming photo/video needs.
- This includes working on the folded, pinned, hanging, and other white background studio shots. Once a studio situation is in place, this should be a task done in tandem with the Art Director.
- Contribute to prep and post for photoshoots, and be proactive on-set. This includes watching out for things that will need retouching.
- Make sure we're on-schedule for creation and delivery of all needed assets. If we are behind schedule, clearly communicate this with the Art Director, and then discuss with the Creative Director.
- Contribute to creative team discussions about concepting and executing content creation.
Skills Needed:
- Proficient in industry-standard photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, captureOne, etc.
- Strong understanding of color correction, image enhancement, and retouching techniques.
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems to organize and archive files effectively.
- Knowledge of file formats, resolutions, and optimization for various digital platforms.
- Ability to work with photographers and other stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience with batch processing and workflow automation tools for efficiency.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset for visual storytelling through images.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a digital retoucher or digital asset manager in a relevant field.
- Portfolio showcasing retouching skills and examples of organized digital asset libraries.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
If you meet these qualifications and are passionate about creating visually stunning digital content, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and portfolio for consideration.
