TruHealing Baltimore is hiring Licensed and Registered Nurses (RNs) just like you to join our team at our Woodlawn, Maryland location. TruHealing Baltimore has been designed to provide comprehensive health services to a population that have been diagnosed with a chronic mental illness and/or substance use disorder. F ull Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts may be available! Pay rates range from $37.50 - $47 per hour based on shift, site needs, and experience.

**SIGN ON BONUS-$7,500 for RN's, $5,000 for LPN's**

Qualifications: Our Nurses are responsible for all aspects of nursing care including but not limited to: nursing assessment plan, treatment plan development, ASAM admission criteria, daily assessments and medication administration and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the client coordination with the attending physician, ARNP, and Clinical Treatment Team.

• Associates in Nursing
• 1+ years of experience in a detox or similar treatment facility environment strongly preferred
• State LPN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Psychiatric Nursing experience required
• Experienced in administering medication orally, subcutaneously, and IM.
• Ability to recognize signs and symptoms of withdrawal pain and of a critically dangerous medical emergency and respond appropriately.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to respond physically with swiftness to a patient emergency.
• Able to respond calmly and timely during an emergency or potential emergency situation.
• Familiarity with ASAM criteria preferred
• Familiarity with JCAHO Standards of Care for Behavioral Health
• Electronic Health Record experience

Duties: Guide patients through their detox process per the physician's orders. You'll work to educate the patient about his/her condition and to assist the physician and ARNP by the accurate clinical reporting of patient conditions, status and proper clinical actions. The Nurse is involved in nursing assessments at intake and performs necessary discharge nursing actions as well as routine reports needed from clinical for insurance patients. This position is responsible for the proper administration, reconciliation, storage and security of all medications. Other specific tasks and responsibilities for this position include but aren't limited to:

• Administering prescribed medications, as prescribed by medical team
• Making independent decisions within the scope of their license involving patient care.
• Use sound judgment in the informing Leadership of all decisions made and when/how they should be communicated.
• Monitor and record through our Electronic Health System all aspects of the patients care
• Follow Universal Infections Control Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Reconcile medication at the end of each shift which includes the responsibility of accurately maintaining logs of distribution of controlled substances in accordance to regulation and State law.
• Ensures that during shift change the nurse on duty is properly informed of any information needed to continue high standards of care for all patient

Pay and Compensation

You'll earn a base hourly rate plus periodic bonuses ranging in amounts based on facility demand.
