Job description
Position Overview: The Drywall Project Manager is responsible for leading drywall teams to complete projects at hospitals, schools, high-rise buildings, retail locations, and multi-family residential buildings. This role is a combination of on-site and office-based project management and requires strong organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that drywall teams understand the project's scope, timeline, and budget. Organize and order materials and resources for projects. Supervise drywall teams to ensure safety and quality work. Inspect drywall installations to ensure that they meet code requirements. Resolve customer complaints and issues with drywall installations. Maintain records of projects, including progress, budgets, and timelines. Train and mentor new drywall team members. Identify new drywall installation techniques. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in drywall installation and project management. Experience in metal stud framing and acoustical ceilings. Advanced understanding of drywall codes and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Ability to solve complex problems and make difficult decisions. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team building skills. Computer proficiency with software such as MS Office and Project Management.
