Valeo Resources has partnered with a community mental health organization who is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time FNP or Physician Assistant to join the team in Salem, MA ! In this role, you will be working with all ages in the community suffering from mental health disorders, substance abuse, trauma and other instances.

Position : Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Company : Community Mental Health Center

Location : Salem, MA

Schedule : M-F, 830-530pm, 1 evening shift 1030-730pm
The center is open on Saturdays from 9am-1pm but it is only a slim possibility that you would have to do 1 a month. This depends on case loads and needs during that time.

The Job:
Under the general direction of the Chief Clinical Officer and the direct supervision of the Medical Director, the advanced practitioner Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages and genders within the context of Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) policies and procedures. The clinician will exercise individual initiative and independent action to ensure high-quality and comprehensive primary care. The two central tenets of PCMH lie in team-based care and care coordination. The advanced practitioner is expected to be an integral part of the Primary Care Team (PCT), leader, and engaged team member.
Requirements:

• Current NP/PA Massachusetts License
• Certification in respective specialty (Family only)
• Two years working as a licensed NP/PA in an ambulatory care setting; experience in a Community Health Center preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• COVID-19 Vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted
