Job description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide technology solutions that meet the requested timelines and provide an innovative solution while maintaining industry and firm best practices. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle using Agile methodologies. Participate in code reviews with other team members and provide guidance based on best practices or business and industry specifics. During planning sessions provide design recommendations based on the specifics of the Separately Managed Accounts business and streamline processes to achieve best time to market solutions. Work with business analyst, stakeholders, and the development team to clarify and requirements to deliver proposed solution. Design, develop and implement software solutions with the industry best practices for cloud-based applications keeping in line with firm guidelines. Provide production support for any aspect of the application working with business teams, operation teams, middle office, and upstream / downstream technology partners to troubleshoot issues and provide and implement timely fixes with minimal impact to the business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Python; Shell Scripting; SQL; AWS Cloud Services; Infomatica; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Regression Testing; User Acceptance Testing; big data such as Greenplum or Snowflake.
Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $225,000.00-$225,000.00 per year.
