About the Role

Location: Must live in commutable proximity to the NY / NJ area, more specifically the Morristown NJ airport. Extensive travel required.

The Aviation Department is seeking a Cabin Attendant responsible for providing all customers with the highest level of safety, comfort and service while traveling in a Novartis aircraft, resulting in an efficient and seamless travel experience.

What you will be doing:

•Coordination of cabin safety, standard and emergency procedures as specified in the company manuals
•Check on-board emergency equipment and report deficiencies to the Commander
•Deliver silver service catering for all flights in accordance with approved catering policies and passenger requirements.
•Responsible for catering orders and processing
•Follow procedures to ensure the aircraft is properly stocked, clean and prepared for the flight
•Ensure that all pre-flight, inflight and post flight duties are completed in a timely manner
•Notify the flight crew of any cabin related malfunctions or irregularities
•Report any incident using the internal systems
•Ensure that passenger lounge is tidy and presentable to customers, stocked with refreshments (cold and hot beverages)
•Administrative office work and/or front desk manning when required.
•Any other task as assigned by the PIC, the team leader or the lead cabin attendant

Role Requirements

What you will bring to the role:

Education (minimum/desirable): Successful completion of initial company cabin attendant familiarization course

Languages: English required, German an advantage

Experience:
Previous experience as a commercial or corporate cabin attendant - experience in private aviation preferred.
Ideally F7X experience, but not mandatory
From NY/NJ area, living max 2 hrs. away
FACTS/Flight Safety trained (up to date certificates)

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: $76,300.00 and $114,500.00 USD per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
