This is a full-time position with the Bureau of Information and Telecommunication for a Network Analyst. For more information on the Bureau of Information and Telecommunication, please visit .

This entry-level position assists in the design, maintenance, and support of network cabling for the State of South Dakota wide-area network. The individual selected for this position should expect to focus on installing cooper or fiber optic cabling for network hardware, door security, and HVAC to name a few. As a secondary responsibility, the individual selected will also assist with switching and wireless technologies. Travel will be required at times to diagnose problems, install wiring and hardware, and meet with clients, so a valid South Dakota driver's license is also required. The selected individual should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb 12 foot ladders, and carefully reterminate ends on thousands of cables.
