Job description
We are currently seeking a
dedicated Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Texas. The
facility operates with an annual volume that averages between 28,000 to 31,000
patients. The ED/Fast Track bed count and facility annual volume are currently
unspecified.
Shift(s) Description:
7a-7p/7p-7a NIGHTS ARE REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting
to the Emergency Department
- Work collaboratively with a diverse medical team
- Manage a patient load with an average of 3-3.25
patients per hour
- Ensure compliance with trauma protocols as a Level IV
trauma-designated facility
- Collaborate with specialty back-up teams including
Cardiology, OBGYN, General Surgery, and Oncology
Certification and License
Requirements:
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Board Certification or Eligibility (AOA and non-AOA)
- Valid Texas state medical license
