Lab Assistant

• Collect blood specimens from hospital patients in various laboratory departments

• Work with microbiology or anatomic pathology specimens

• Independently operate at remote Patient Service Centers

• Create patient encounters, order laboratory tests, and prepare specimens for testing

• Assist technical personnel in sample log-in, testing workflow, and specimen tracking

• Adapt to work with patients of all age groups, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric adults

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lab Assistant
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
• Experience with patient encounters, laboratory test ordering, and specimen preparation
